Small Groups meet the week of May 24.
On May 31 we’ll have our first service (and a dedication) in the new sanctuary! This service will take place as a combined service at 10:30am. To God be the glory! To allow our entire church body to worship together on that day, the nursery will not be open until midway through the service. We want everyone to be present for our first combined service in the new sanctuary! Nursery volunteers will be available after the offering. Parents are welcome to use the nursery beforehand if needed. The worship service will be followed by a church-wide potluck in our new fellowship hall. We hope you can join us as we celebrate God’s goodness! Please bring a dish or two to share if you plan to stay for lunch.
Donate a baby item to the Choices Baby Shower now through June 7. Drop off items at the table in the Fellowship Hall. Most-needed items include diapers (sizes 3-6T), clothing (sizes NB-4T), baby hygiene products, diaper bags, baby detergent, diaper bags, car seats, strollers, pack n plays, video monitors, swings, bouncers, highchairs, cribs and mattresses. See the table downstairs for a list of gently-used items that can be donated.
Our summer missions trip is scheduled for July 13-18. We will go to Cherokee, NC to minister alongside Pastor Scott Hill who is planting a church there. We will visit the Tsali Nursing Home , conduct afternoon VBS, and work on small projects around the local homes. For more information contact Pastor Allen.
Ladies of Wayside, mark your calendars for three upcoming Porch and Playground Picnic Days! Bring your kids to come fellowship, play, and eat lunch together. We will gather for these special times at 11 AM on July 17, August 7, and October 2 (all Fridays).
Wayside Women of all ages and stages, please join us at 6:30 PM on Wednesday evening, July 29 for a potluck dinner and craft night. On this special evening, we will gather in the new fellowship hall to enjoy a meal and fellowship while creating something lovely. All the craft supplies will be provided for you! For us to order enough supplies and be prepared with enough food, please RSVP to Jodi and let her know how many in
your family are coming, and what dish you plan to bring.
