Wayside Ladies of all ages and stages, you are invited to join us for our women’s conference this spring! Please save the dates of Friday, March 20 and Saturday March 21 for a weekend at our church to learn, pray, and fellowship together. This year’s topic will be “The Hike of Heritage: Studying Scripture One Step at a Time.” We will learn how to discover truth for ourselves in God’s Word and apply it to our lives. You can find ticket and registration information here. The deadline to sign up is March 11.
Pastor Brian will teach a Wayside 101 Class March 27-28 at the church. If you're interested in joining Wayside, or in just learning more about what we believe, please come! The class will begin with supper and a session Friday night (6-8:30pm), and the Saturday session will be from 9-11:30am. Childcare is available for younger children. Please email the church office at office@waysidechurch.org to sign yourself and/or your family up for the class, and indicate if you will need childcare (and the names and ages of your children).
Wayside’s annual Global Missions Conference, “The Why of Missions,” is scheduled for April 10-12. Dr. Guy Richard, President and Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at RTS, Atlanta will be our featured speaker, and we’ll hear from missionaries whom we support. The schedule is posted here.
Our summer missions trip is scheduled for July 13-18. We will go to Cherokee, NC to minister alongside Pastor Scott Hill who is planting a church there. We will visit the Tsali Nursing Home (the name has an interesting story), conduct afternoon VBS, and work on small projects around the local homes. For more information contact Pastor Allen.
