Each Sunday, we offer Sunday school classes for all ages at 9:15 am. We have a nursery for infants ages 0-1. The 2-3 year olds meet in the nursery (“Teach Me Jesus” Preschool Curriculum by GCP). 4K-5th grades meet at 9:15 in the Old Fellowship Hall for singing and memory work, and then they break into separate classes. The 4K-2nd grade class meets in the "Little Oaks Room" (preschool room) (“Growing in God’s Word,” Level 2 by Ligonier Ministries). The 3rd-5th grade class meets in the "Calvin Room" (couch room) (“Growing in God’s Word,” Level 3 by Ligonier Ministries. The 6th-12th grade class meets in the "Luther Room" (old nursery) (Digging Deeper: Study in Westminster Shorter Catechism by GCP). The College & Career class meets in the Manse (Christian Worldview & Apologetics). The Adult Class meets in the new fellowship hall (“Essential Truths of the Christian Faith” based on RC Sproul’s book) in the New
Fellowship Hall.
Join us for the monthly Prayer Meeting on Wednesday, September 2 at 6pm in the sanctuary. At 6:30 we’ll have our Bible studies for all ages (discussing Lesson 9 in the women’s book and Hebrews 10:19-39 in
the men’s book).
September’s Youth Friday Fellowship will meet on September 18 at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall. Supper
is provided; please RSVP to Jonnie Jacobs.
Our Annual Wayside Harvest Festival is scheduled for September 19 from 11am–2pm across the street at the Civic League! We hope you can join us for a fun day of church-wide fellowship, BBQ lunch, kids’ activities, and opportunities to raise the last portion of needed funds for our new sanctuary at the homemade church-wide craft sale and bake sale booths! Sign-up sheets for craft and bake sale contributions as well as volunteer opportunities are now available on the back hall table. Please consider using your gifts at this special event! Ladies of Wayside, join us for our next Playground Picnic Day! Bring your kids to come fellowship, play, and eat lunch together. We will gather for this special time at 10:30am on October 2 here at the church.
