The Christmas on the Mountain concert is coming! Due to construction at the Mountain Opry, we will be holding one concert in our current sanctuary on Saturday, December 6 at 6:30pm. Doors will open at 6pm, and our regular overflow spaces will be available.
The SMSS Christmas Basket donation campaign will be drawing to a close next week. Progress in Wayside’s assigned contribution of 65 jars of peanut butter and 130 bath soaps has been terrific and is nearing the finish line -we only lack around 15 jars of peanut butter to reach our total numbers. Everyone’s contributions to this heartfelt ministry are greatly appreciated!
Ladies of Wayside, you are invited to join us for our annual Christmas party in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, December 17 at 6:30pm. Wayside will provide the turkey main dish and drinks. Please bring a side dish or dessert and a wrapped ornament to share. To help our women’s ministry with preparations, please RSVP to Jodi and let her know how many people you are bringing, and what side dish you plan to bring.
The December Youth Friday Night Fellowship is scheduled for December 19 from 6-9pm at the Manse. Join us for a wonderful time celebrating the birth of our Savior at our annual Christmas party! We’ve got a fun evening planned with amazing food, a devotion, and our White Elephant gift exchange to add to the festivities. We look forward to seeing you all there!
We'll have two Christmas Eve candlelight services on Wednesday, December 24 -- one at 4pm and one at 7pm. These are whole-family services, so there will be no nursery or childcare.
We want to send off the Barrett family with our love and support! We'll have a small reception after the evening service on Sunday, December 28, to give them our farewells and love. More info to follow!
Come help as we "de-green" the church on Saturday, January 3 beginning at 8:30am. Many hands make light work!
