The choir will rehearse Sunday at 5pm, then join us for our regular evening worship service at 6pm. Childcare is provided for the worship service.

The Youth Friday Fellowship will meet on Friday, September 22 from 6-9pm at the Manse. Supper is included – please RSVP to Jonnie Jacobs for reservations. We’ll also be helping to set up for the Harvest Festival during this time.

REMINDER: Wayside’s 2023 Harvest Festival is Saturday, September 23, from 11am -2:30pm!  BBQ lunch is provided, along with live music, children’s activities, craft booth and demonstrations, kitchen booth, and wonderful gospel community for all!  All purchases from craft and kitchen booths will contribute to the new sanctuary fund. Payment options include cash, check, Venmo and PayPal.  There will be overflow parking available across the street from the church and additional overflow parking at the Signal Mountain Christian School off of Key Hulse Rd. (Please take caution when crossing the street in order to use the connecting path.)  Come out and enjoy our many shared blessings on what looks to be a gorgeous fall day!

Small groups will meet this week. Children’s Choir Rehearsal and the monthly Prayer Meeting will meet Wednesday, October 4 at 6pm. At 6:30, the Wednesday night Bible studies will study Joshua 16-19 (second half of chapter 8 in the Neilson book, and chapters 16-17 in the Davis book).

September 27 is our night to provide food for our SMSS families. You can find the signup link here; see Marci Cooper if you have questions.

Pastor Brian will teach a Wayside 101 Class October 13-14 at the church. If you are interested in joining Wayside, or in just learning more about what we believe, please come! You’ll meet for supper and a session on Friday night (6-8:30pm), and on Saturday from 9-11:30am. Childcare is available for younger children. Pastor Chuck will teach a membership class for children (older elementary through middle school aged) during the Saturday portion. Contact Ken Harmon or the church office to sign yourself and/or your family up for the class and let him know if you will need childcare (and names and ages of your children).

The Reformation Heritage Conference is sold out!! The conference is scheduled for October 20-22, 2023. More information can be found here.  If you have not registered and would like to be put on a waiting list, please contact Pastor Brian, Ken Harmon, or the church office.

Add the Reformation Day Potluck Supper to your calendar! It will take place at 6:30pm on Tuesday, October 31, and you’ll see more information in the coming weeks.
