ANNOUNCEMENTS
The choir will rehearse Sunday at 5pm, then join us for our regular evening worship service at 6pm. Childcare is provided for the worship service.
We’re participating in the Baby Bottle campaign for Choices again this year. Please take a baby bottle from the back foyer, collect your spare change at home, and return the bottle to the back foyer on Father’s Day (June 18).
Pastor Brian will teach a Wayside 101 Class June 2-3 at the church. If you are interested in joining Wayside, or in just learning more about what we believe, please come! We’ll meet for supper and a session Friday night (6-8:30pm), and on Saturday from 9-11:30am. Childcare is available for younger children. Email Ken Harmon to sign yourself and/or your family up for the class and let him know if you will need childcare (and names and ages of your children).
Wednesday night activities on June 7: Children’s Choir rehearsal and monthly prayer meeting at 6pm; Bible Studies at 6:30. All groups will study Joshua 7-8 (chapter 5 in the Neilson study; chapters 6-7 in the Davis study).
Wayside will have a team participating in the annual Choices Walk on June 24. Heather Yeargan is heading up this team. You can register to walk as an individual or as a family (or you can just contribute financially if you prefer) here. If you have any questions, contact Heather.
Mark your calendars for Wayside’s summer concert series! Concert dates are June 30, July 28, and August 25 and will feature live music from The Foreign Landers, Stephen Humphries, and the Chattanooga String Quartet. These events are not ticketed; however, we will be accepting donations at the door.
With so many things going on at Wayside, this is a great time to remember the particularly exciting undertaking we are in the midst of, regarding our new sanctuary. Check out our short video, which speaks to Wayside’s history, the amazing growth from planting & watering the gospel, and our continuing legacy for the future. Here is the link.
